Cinzia tiddler on the edge of the woods, she had no where else to go. if only she hadn't wondered the town the other day, it would have never happened. she sat on the grass with her head in her hands. she knew it was all her fault and she had ruined any progress she had with [glow=red,2,300]Coyote[/glow]. she started to barely rock back and forth, trying to null the pain.

"What are you doing back here?" Coyote asked in a calm, yet dangerous tone, stepping forward towards her, but stopping a good distance away...truthfully, he was just in the process of wandering himself, looking for something. He couldn't tell what straight off, but after laying eyes on Cinzia for the first time in about a week, he soon found out for what he had been seeking...and yet, he still felt the dull thud of pain in the side of his stomach, and couldn't bring himself to trust her within a closer proximity.

she jumped, scooting back. "I-....I had no where else to go." the blood rimed her eyes, she felt the relief of seeing him in better heath. her initial reaction was to grovel at his feet like a submissive pack member but she thought even that was inappropriate.

Coyote realized that standing might have made him seem intimidating, so he crouched, mindful of his injury and leaning to the side so that the slit wouldn't be wrinkled with movement. He looked at her evenly, studying her face. "... You've got nerve coming back, kid. The wolves are geared to kill you for your treachery toward the pack." He then frowned slightly. "But I do wonder... What did he do to convince you?"

The palms of her hands were soaked so she pulled them away a bit. "I-I don't know..." she tried to thing back. "It was some sort of mind trick." she shook her head, "I didn't say anything..he just....I only looked around and ....he saw that...I-I didn't mean it." she whined.

Coyote remained quiet for a long time, then let out a sigh, cutting his eyes to the side. "... I don't blame you, Cinzia," he said quietly, then glanced back to her, creeping forward slightly until he was sitting a few inches closer. "I mean, no, it's not ideal that you gave us away. But that guy...he's supposed to be able to manipulate you. You just fell for the charm that everyone else does...it wasn't your fault. It was his."

Cinzia shook her head, "that shouldn't be possible, I should have been able to resets but he used any doubt I had at all...." she rubbed her eyes, turning her back to him.

"Remember when we first met? I wanted to kill you, and Mikael is the only thing that stopped me. If it had been my choice, I would have killed you right then and there." As he said the words, Coyote felt somewhat guilty about the chance encounter...but he knew it was necessary to bring up in the instance. "It was already impressive that you trusted us a little in the first place... He just dug up that whole thing all over again. It's what hunters do."

she sneaked a peak but quickly turned around. Cinzia sighed looking up in the night stars, she found them irritatingly nice. "you shou-" sigh "...you shouldn't be justifying my actions, I should be the one groveling to you..." she put her head between her knees. "I'v never met a hunter before."

"You weren't the one who stabbed me in the stomach; it was that hunter." Coyote bristled at the thought of the man; even now, after a week without seeing him for a second time, the broad, yellowed grin haunted him, lurking in every moment of his memory. Even now, he could feel the sensation of freezing metal slipping into his stomach, only to be torn free and ripped away while Coyote's wound gasped at the presence of air. "You've never seen what they can do, so you weren't to know about what sort of things they can accomplish."

Cinzia sniffled "Mi dispiace, amore" (I am sorry, love) blood sticky on her face. she looked at where the wound is. "I shouldn't be asking for any type of forgiveness and I sure as....hell don't expect it nor do I deserve it" Cinzia slowly let her legs go and turned her torso to face him; she covered one of her eyes. "I don't know how to handle friends really". she sniffled more. "molto piĆ¹ difficile di quanto mi aspettassi." (much harder than I expected.) the words came out as a whisper.

As she glanced at his rather ugly scar, Coyote admittedly flinched a bit...but he quickly got over the feeling, and he continued slinking forward, slowly so that neither of them got disturbed by the movement. "I don't really either. That's why we have to learn. I mean...eventually."

Cinzia remembered his movements when they had first met, they we he slowly approached her. she couldn't help but back away, once she realized she stopped. "how...how is Mik doing...?" she dared to ask.

Instead of following her as she backed away, Coyote simply remained where he was; it was wolfish instinct that made him draw closer, and he tried to taste the air around her, to get any sort of feel of her emotions... But for now, he simply forced himself to be more human than animal, sitting back on a rock and making himself just watch her expression in order to get what he could of her thoughts. "He's fine. He's sleeping right now...he's been staying up all day and night watching my progress." He shrugged his thin shoulders. "I decided that it would be good to get some air after being cooped up inside for so long."

Cinzia scoots closer. "Have you not been able to run this whole time...?" she felt insistently bad, remembering the first time they had played and how she found out about her wolf side.

"... No," Coyote said after a moment, beginning to idly fiddle with a piece of grass. "No, I haven't. It would have reopened the wound, and it wouldn't have clotted right." He then smiled slightly at her. "But that's okay. You never know what you have until it's gone, so I guess it was kind of a blessing in disguise."

She shifted on her position to her knees, as if a sniffling child listening to a elder. "when will you be able to?" cinzia brushed some of her hair behind her ear. If she was in wolf form she would be wagging her tail. she was still upset but didn't hide it; she was struggling to wipe away the blood left on her face.

"As soon as the stitches come out," he said with a quirked half-grin, and the thought of being able to tear freely through the forest warmed him from the inside out... He relaxed an inch more, easing out of his crouch to sit on the rock more comfortably. "And once that happens, no one will be able to stop us - I mean..." He glanced at her. "... me."

she couldn't help but smile at his enthusiasm, she liked seeing him happy. "well you might want to warn all the woodland critters first" she chuckled at the thought of seeing all the animals run. she was almost completely relaxed now.
