Elijah grumbled, "It's not if I trust you it is if they trust you."

"Well, they could either go with the option of getting mind controlled by a parasite and eventually die... or they could trust me and potentially be saved, if im in a good mood!"
Hex smiled playfully. "Although I wouldn't be as cruel..I'd probably just make the host kill himself immediately once I grasped control of his mind... Maybe make him stumble off a couple of rocks...or stick his head into a pool of water so he couldn't breath..." His voice began to drone on and one as if he were getting ideas.

"HEX!!" Father shouted warning that he went too far. "Behave..." He came up behind Hex and smack him upside the head. "We're trying to help these people."

Elijah wasn't sure how to react, his baser animal just growled. "that would just be cruel and unusual punishment." he said flatly.

Hex yelped a little from the smack, the jar dropped and rolled out of his hand from the impact. Before Hex could react the glass at the bottom of the jar cracked against the floor.

"What the hell kind of tomfoolery are y'all getting into?" Coyote said viciously, forcing his way through the slightly ajar door into the church with a rather unsurprising lack of grace. He had seen Elijah carrying the jar earlier, and had meant to follow directly, but had to attend to other things... But now he had found the time to see what was going on, and the first thing he sees is a little...rat...man...thing going and dropping it? The new alpha moved up to the group and picked up the jar, holding a hand over the crack and tilting it to its side so that the worm tumbled about in the wormy way that worms do. "Why on Earth isn't this dead yet, are you keeping it as a pet? Always knew there was something screwy about this church."

"His name is Frado!" Hex shouted cheerfully. "Foxy over there named him." He gestured toward Elijah.
Hex then rocked back onto his heels once the parasite no longer posed as a threat, although he kept his eyes steady on the jar.

The father sighed "Theres nothing 'screwy' about this church, it's just the people that come into it that make it seem that way..." Feler rubbed his temples and over back to his seat.

Elijah laughed, he enjoyed seeing feler in distress. "hey parasite boy, tell him the same thing you told me."

Hex looked up at Coyote before shifting his body upward into a sitting position. "But we haven't even formally met yet. " The strange boy scooted toward the alpha wolf and began to prod at his ankles, even going as far to sniff around them.
"Your energy is fascinating! He's a lot more intimidating than you!" he gasped, referring to Elijah.

Coyote frowned at the odd creature on the floor, then leaned slightly down to lightly sniff at him. He then snorted at the scent. "What are you, anyway?" he asked, without any qualms to the fact that the question very well might have been tactless and rude to ask. He then glanced at the jar, only to have his dark brown eyes flicker back to Hex. "... Oh. Sorry, is this yours?" He offered the jar towards the strange creature...parasite...thing.

"what am I..? I'm hungry! like always.." The boy murmured. His stomach growled on Que as before he began clutching at it.
His attention then returned to Coyote now that he passed the jar off to him. He took it carefully and held it close to his chest.
"Your scent makes my mouth water.." Hex sighed, brushing his long fingertips against the crack in the jar.

"E-er..." Coyote struggled momentarily for words, instead simply sort of making sounds until he could form something that wasn't birthed directly from confusion. This, unfortunately, came in the outlet of irritation, and he hurtled a rather violently disdainful look at Elijah as he let out a wolfish growl. "I want answers, pup. What are these Goddamn worm things?" He then glanced to Feler, his expression almost apologetic. "Er, I mean...damn."

Elijah shrugged, "From what he told me...Parasites....like him." he gestured to the boy with a smile. He couldn't help it, the kid was growing on him. "you know I'm not good with explaining things like this..." He shrugged again, sitting forward.

An awkward silence past, Feler looked to the wolves and asked "So how do you think you'll take care of this problem?"

"They multiply, I'm assuming. And they're internal parasites of sentient beings, so it's not like we can just kill the hosts whenever they come up." Coyote groaned, rubbing his face with a calloused, dirty hand. "Jesus, this sounds like a video game."

Elijah hid a grin, "no we cant do that..." he thought about all the people and daemons he had already killed, that were infected. He looked up at Hex. "so bug boy, how about it. what do you think we should do?" he watched the kid.
