she watched the fox skull as she spoke obviously intimidated by him. "food..." she whispers the words slowly; thinking about them.

"Aha. I should have guessed. They help you find something you can really sink your teeth into, am I right?" He smiled as he spoke, looking sickly sweet and continuing in his chipper tone; however abysmal the conversation got, he would still remain smiling. One of the most unsettling things about him, certainly. "Well, that doesn't sound very much like friendship to me. That sounds like just business. You may not like it, but you understand where I'm coming from... Beneath all of those pesky morals your parents taught you lies what I do for a living. Taking advantage of the world to fulfill a root need using savage means." Ill took the skull gently in between his two hands, then wrenched his wrists, cracking the lower jaw off with a dry snap. "You do it too, see? Who's the monster here...me, or you?"

Cinzia didn't know how to react. if that was true and they weren't her fiends then what were they, why were they helping her, she didnt want to be a monster. All this talk made her doubt her werewolf friends; it made her wonder if she should be with them. "monster you say? maybe I should go.." she gave a nervous, short laugh, trying to edge away.

"Why don't you like what I have to say? Aren't I shedding some light that needs to be shed? Haven't you been wondering for a long time about why-- why they've been helping you, why you didn't feel like you belonged?" Ill was being merciless now, and he knew it...what better way to change someone than to make them question the foundations of life as they knew it? "You should thank me for making you think about such things. Now you have a whole new outlook on the matter...now you know the answer to such hard questions, and you didn't even have any deciding to do." Ill grinned. "Now, there's one more thing left to do...tell me where your faux friends are hiding. Clear your conscious for the last time."

Not able to keep her composer, she started to panic. now she thought back to when coyote wanted to kill her, she remembered him whispering something to Mikael. what if they were just trying to earn her trust, maybe she should just tell this man. She barely knows the wolves but she couldnt help but think of the time she spent with them; even most of that time she was scared. Cinzia dared to look at the man. "........they.." she choked on the words, she just couldn't do it.

Ill snapped all of his attention to the girl with the abruptness of a riding crop, meeting her frightened gaze with even the intensity of his blind, milky eye. "Take your time, think about the words." He lowered his voice to that of a calmer mood, now focusing his energy on withdrawing the location from her lips. "Think about everything they've done against you. All the times they've manipulated you, lied to you, accused you of being something you're not. You've done your time minding other people...now's the time to finally attend to yourself."

She jumped."I-I...." she still wasn't able to speak but now she didn't know what side to be on...she still couldn't talk. she started to tear up at the thought of having the friends she thought she had not really be there.

He was certainly going to continue in his yearning for the answer to his question, but a rather unrecognizable part of his mind felt an acute sympathy for the girl...it was easily ignored for now, but he had the nagging feeling that it would soon resurface. He leaned against a vendor's counter, and the thought made him absentmindedly scratch at his arm, leaving it feeling even more raw than it had before. "Go on," he said lowly, his eyes flickering away to graze the ground at his feet.

she could look at him instead she stole a glance at the woods which she had come from, just after seeing Coyote. she hoped the glance would give her courage but it didn't. she didn't feel anything, what if she truly never though of them as friends.

As if they were connected by some invisible string, Ill's eyes flickered to the forest alongside hers, and that glance was all he needed...he grinned. "Awesome," he said darkly, then smiled at her, straightening from the counter and stretching his arms out in front of him. "Thank you very soundly for the information, kid...you did the right thing. Now, who wants some lunch, because I know I do."

Her eyes widen."I didn't....." A tear fell down her cheek, "that's not..." she couldn't form coherent sentences. "no" is all she could say, she felt like shit. then again whose to say they wouldn't do the same thing, she wasn't part of the pack. even so she could help but feel the sting of betrayal.
